EMO Music
The roots of the emo music goes back to the 80's. The emo genre is a subdivision of the punk, wich is a subdivision of the goth. The popular hardcore punk rockbands were the first emo bands. After that they called it emocore, a word mare up from the emotional and hardcore words. The first breath of the emocore was the first part of the emo story, the first period. Just to mention them: Rites of Spring, Embrace, One Last Wish, etc... They were really cool until the beggining of the 90's, after they split up, we can say that the first period was over. In 1994, in the garden of underground indie the emo music style just reborned, cause of Fugazi and the Dischord records. The second wave or period was still just inside the USA. But the third wave was sentenced for world popularity! It caused by the record companies that tried to made up a lot of emo formations, and bands, and bulid emo communities all around the world. We are still in this period, and that is the hottest little fashion on the streets right now. From nowdays, just to mention some bands: My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, AFI, etc... But that is the point when you can't be up to date, cause emo bands going down, and coming up every week, so just keep looking on the web for emo music, or emo bands and listen'em!

Fall Out Boy is the best emo music band :)
emo's suck! no real roots, no reality. they're just emotionally disturbed people wanting to get away from the truth of the world. Bleeding hearts? yeah right! emos are loser's. fucking men without feeling gay about it. No truth, no past, no future.

It didn't start with pussy ass Rites of Spring, and does not continue in Fallout Boy! Rites of Spring were one of the first pop-punk bands, and Fallout Boy are simply pop "musicians."
The most popular TRUE emo bands are hardly head of, Fear of God and the like. Emo was originally an INSULT coined by straightedge punks, back when straightedge was a punk scene, too. That's right, it wasn't always a thing you labeled yourself as.
Furthermore, all emotive hardcore bands, yeah, emotive hardcore, not "emotional," only released self pushed tapes and were unwaveringly against music as a corporate business. This is because it is completely wrong, music is a service that should be done for feeling and the enjoyment of one's self and listeners. Most of the generation just grew older and got sick of being poor, so they joined the system and became the enemy.
Few are still true to the scene, but every once in a while in the midwest and northwest, you'll find some real kids still around fluxuating between band members and names.
You posers can have the emo title, we'll keep the nihilist revolution coming, though slowly, ever closer to the horizon.

okay whoeva is trash tlkin us emos u need 2 shut up. got it? ya we may be disturbed but not all of us cut AND ONE DAT DO GOTA F*CKIN GUD REASON 2! and me yeah im emo BUT I WORSHIP GOD!!! yeah no one is perfect and i dnt like f*ckin lables got it???? if u r a christain open ur dang heart and help us. we r messed up cuz ppl hurtin us and never understandin us and things u r sayin is makin it worse. so if u want all da emo stuff 2 go away help us out dnt push us in deeper from wat has happened. we all have feelings, and memories some just r stronger than others. but those who cnt take it anymore need some help but dats never gona happen 4 some of us but it just might if u stop bein mean and just understand us.
also we can smile and dnt spend all day cryin, listen 2 rock/ heavy metal, and cuttin ourself.
one more thing we all dnt wear heavy black and stuff like dat. we can look just like u and still be emo. we can hide things 4rm everyone. so u never kno ur OWN MOM OR FRIEND OR WHOEVER U KNO MIGHT BE EMO AND U WILL NEVER HAVE ANY F*CKIN CLUE CUZ U DNT CARE!!!!!!!
