The Power of WordPress

Weeks in entering the world of wordpress and it has really impressed me. It is a highly customizable CMS software that can be applied to any kind of websites. I think a lot of people/web developers today are already using this software as a base for their own websites. Almost everything you need can be found on this software by use of plugins and widgets. I am using it on the company I am working right now and we are trying to republish the site, you can find it here http://www.philippinelifemates.com but it is not quite finished yet. I still need to add a lot of things and encode a lot of articles. Hopefully it will be finished soon since I am blessed with a team of good graphic artists and article writer. I am running it under FreeBSD platform/MySQL database and has not encountered any problems yet. I love the way you can go around wordpress and the over the internet discussions of it in cases that I have a lot of things I don't quite understand yet.

A not-so-boring homework came upon me and got me reading... It's about the long history of my dear country's currency;

Locally termed as "piso"..The Philippine Peso is the Pearl of the Orient's official monetary currency (are my terms even right?). It isn't a hidden fact that the Philippines is one of the 'third world countries', unfortunately because of the slow development dear Pilipinas is experiencing and if I am also allowed to say this, because of the painful discrimination people from the more well-off countries do. This article isn't about racism.. so let's put that aside for awhile. The reason why my senses woke up is because, I may have been taking dear Piso for granted, for the very reason that she has an astonishingly small worldwide exchange value..ZzzZzzzZZZzzz

It just amazed me that a lot of colonies took part in establishing our infamous currency. The Americans, Spaniards even the Japanese made good use of it, different kinds of people took advantage over it,some were lucky to have saved a lot for their family, while some where unfortunate to even get to hold a large amount of money for a period of time. Money, it's as bad as evil but people's survival depend largely on it. It's like hating to drink a tablespoon of medicine, I never liked the taste of it, but no matter how much I deny, my body needs it to grow and be strong.

To some, marriage is like the grandest and most special day of their lives..some even (mostly girls) dream of this day ever since they were young. It's like they know they were meant to do and be part of it. So what is marriage exactly? From some books that I've read, 'it's the union of two loving souls' but from my uncle's point of view, it's like hanging yourself in a tall and old mango tree only that you don't die after the rope chokes you around the neck...you die after the rope multiplies,wraps your whole body and cut your jugular veins until you have nothing to bleed.. Why is he so bitter? go figure!

It really isn't that horrifying..it's not even that agonizing, according to my cousin's favorite television soap. From what I see, actors and actresses make great effort in making it look and feel like every union is a match made in heaven, that no matter what happens, even though you do not have money to buy your aching tummies bread for the day, you'll get through it as long as you stay together.awwww!! so romantic.. but is that real? does love really take the physical pain away?

After contemplating and daydreaming of possible scenarios, all that I can say about marriage is that, it's a big deal, yeah, it maybe scary but it can be exciting and fun too.. Just as long as you have the right and complete essential tools, you have the money to settle down, you own your own house and most of all... well, the most important thing of all, you have to have the right person beside you to walk through the aisle of life with.. and make it sure that he or she is the 'one' not because she's pretty, not because he's rich.. but because you understand each other and that is all that matters.

The roots of the emo music goes back to the 80's. The emo genre is a subdivision of the punk, wich is a subdivision of the goth. The popular hardcore punk rockbands were the first emo bands. After that they called it emocore, a word mare up from the emotional and hardcore words. The first breath of the emocore was the first part of the emo story, the first period. Just to mention them: Rites of Spring, Embrace, One Last Wish, etc... They were really cool until the beggining of the 90's, after they split up, we can say that the first period was over. In 1994, in the garden of underground indie the emo music style just reborned, cause of Fugazi and the Dischord records. The second wave or period was still just inside the USA. But the third wave was sentenced for world popularity! It caused by the record companies that tried to made up a lot of emo formations, and bands, and bulid emo communities all around the world. We are still in this period, and that is the hottest little fashion on the streets right now. From nowdays, just to mention some bands: My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, AFI, etc... Your screen will go blank, dont worry it will take a little while till it comes back to normal, its scans and cleans your computer and creates autorun.ini files to stop this chatx virus from recreating and running itself.

1.) Turn off system restore
2.) Restart your computer
3.) Open Task Manager and end task wscript.exe
4.) Click New File -> New Task (Run...)
5.) Type cmd
6.) Go to drive c: -> cd \
7.) When you get in drive c:\ type the following -> del c:\mma.* /f /s /q /a
8.) After deleting the mma files, delete the autorun file -> del c:\autorun.* /f /s /q /a
9.) Do the same with the other drives e:\ f:\ g:\
10.) Open Task Manager again and Run cmd
11.) Open the Registry Editor -> regedit
12.) Go to -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->Microsoft->WindowsNT->CurrentVersion->Winlogon
13.) Find the Userinit value
14.) Right click and choose modify and enter the Value data: c:/windows/system32/userinit.exe,
15.) Then your finish
16.) Reboot your computer
17.) If it still exist, do it in safe mode

I love this series... it's a mix and match of sad sad drama and sweet moments.. The episodes are quite long but the time youn spend on it is worth it.

Well, I think a relationship is like an investment, you work hard for it, invest money on it, spend sleepless nights to make it successful, tears of hardwork, do a lot of calls just to make sure its okay and even spend a lot of time to meet your goals.

Since its like an investment, you should really handle it with care, never turn your thoughts away from it, treasure it, make something out of it and if it turns out good, you will surely get your benefits from your hard work.

We try our best, specially at school to pass our projects, do our assignment and even get a diploma. Why not have the same attitude towards relationship? A relationship is a lot harder than school work and we give more investments into it. So before you think of letting go? Think twice.

What we plant today, we will surely harvest tommorow.

It never came into mind that he was taking the important things in their life for granted. He just thought that this bliss of a life will go on forever and that he will die with it. Special moments like when she cooked him meals and tried to learn his hobbies so she can do them with him... he never saw through them.

and then a visit to her doctor gave her the shock of her life. her forgetfulness was a big deal after all. she had alzheimer's and it wasnt curable. not at all. She tried keeping it a secret from everybody concerned but they still found out about it. He couldnt believe it.. He wouldnt admit it... He wanted to die..it was because he was scared of spending a lifetime without her.

then it hit him. there are a lot of things about our life that we love so dearly. we love how much our parents are around us, always willing to support us whenever we need their help. we love the thought of having someone by our side willing to love us for the rest of our lives..but we simply forget to thank them for the things they do for us and how much happiness they've brought into our lives.

yeah, things happen for a reason but come to think of it.. wouldnt it be better if we could cherish the things we love while they are still around? not when its too late and there's nothing we can do to bring it back..

It was love at first sight.

She has always been forgetful, simple things like ballpens and directions that might be considered normal for some people..like me for example.

He, on the other hand, is a strong man who goes by his daily life with not much complications. He considers things as "come what may". He didnt have a very happy childhood which explains his character, I guess.

They met a couple of times and for some unexplainable circumstances, they fell in love. They do not have a lot of things in common by the way. She was as bubbly as can be while he was, how should I say this? uhm, the opposite type.

He was as tough as hell. But as always, there's this soft side that he forbids anyone to see. What he hates about her is her special extraordinary way of coming into his life and taking over without any effort. She taught him a lot of things, she taught him that loving someone doesnt necesarily mean that you need to get hurt first before you realize it. He's been through a lot of pain before they met in case I forgot to tell you. She was the one who made him realize that forgiving and not forgetting is not a hard thing to do just as long as you put your heart into it. My favorite part is when she tells him to do something and eventhough he hates it from the bottom of his heart, he ends up doing it anyway... and in the long run realizes that he loves what he has done.

She was a blessing in disguise.Although he knew it and wanted to say how much he appreciates her presence and the things she has brought into his life, something within him always held him back when he starts saying mushy words. He still hates things like that. But what about the girl? shouldnt she be getting anything in return too? She had never asked for anything really, all she wanted was simple gestures of gratitude and hearing him say that he loves her with all of his heart.
